Dear Students,

To our new students, continuing students, and especially those joining us from ILAC—welcome to SELC! 💛

I wanted to take a moment to personally welcome you and share a few thoughts.

Life doesn't always go according to plan. Sometimes, unexpected challenges change our direction, test our patience, and leave us feeling uncertain about what comes next.

I know that for some of you, particularly our students joining us from ILAC, the past few weeks have been difficult, frustrating and perhaps even overwhelming. I recognize that many of you have faced unexpected financial and personal challenges, and I don't want to minimize what you've been through.

But something I truly believe is that it's often through our most difficult moments that we discover our strength, develop resilience, and grow in ways we never imagined.

Challenges don't always feel like opportunities when we're going through them. But sometimes, looking back, we realize how much they taught us about ourselves.

As we begin this new chapter together, I encourage everyone to support one another with kindness, patience and grace. We all have our own stories, struggles and responsibilities, and a little understanding can make a tremendous difference in someone's day.

I also encourage you to practice gratitude. Even when life is difficult, there are still things worth appreciating - a new opportunity, a helping hand, a friendship, a lesson learned, or simply the chance to begin again.

We cannot always control what happens to us, but we can choose how we move forward.

And please remember, you don't have to do it alone. We are here to help you navigate your journey and make the most of your experience at SELC.

📅 Mandatory ILAC Student Orientation

This orientation is mandatory for students joining us from ILAC. I will share the registration link and further details in a separate announcement.

To all our students, whether you are just beginning, continuing your studies, or approaching graduation, I hope you remember that success isn't only about reaching your destination. It's also about the strength, courage, relationships and lessons you develop along the way.

Let's welcome one another, support each other, celebrate our progress, and make this next chapter a positive one.
