📢 MANDATORY WELCOME ORIENTATION – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16

Dear Students,

Our next SELC College Mandatory Welcome Orientation is happening this Friday, October 16.

⚠️ ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY!

If you have NOT attended the Welcome Orientation for your CURRENT program, you MUST attend this Friday October 16, 2026.

This applies even if:

  • You have already attended an orientation for a different SELC program.

  • You have been studying in your current program for several months (even 6 months or longer).

  • You are not a new student.

Important: The Mandatory Welcome Orientation counts toward your attendance percentage.

 

📍 Who Does NOT Need to Attend?

You are exempt from attending in person ONLY if BOTH conditions apply to you:

  • You are taking fully online, asynchronous classes in HCA, THM, LIC, or PA.

  • You do NOT live in Vancouver.

If you live in Vancouver, you MUST attend, even if your classes are fully online.

All other students who have not yet attended the Welcome Orientation for their current program are required to attend.

Date: Friday, October 16, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Location: SELC College – 1155 West Pender Street, Vancouver

 

⏰ REGISTRATION DEADLINE: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15 AT 1:00 PM
